About

Our journey to CALIVENCE Vineyard and Farm Shoppe began 25 years ago when we first fell in love with wine and farming. This journey eventually brought us to Los Olivos in the Santa Ynez Valley where the winds, cool climate and limestone soil were ideal to plant Bordeaux varietal grapes. We planted over 3 acres and embraced the philosophy of “regenerative farming practices” by planting 120 olive trees, 70 fruit trees, lavender, herbs, a culinary garden all to create a vineyard with biodiversity encouraging and supporting nature.

We hope you take this journey with us by enjoying our wine and visiting our Farm Shoppe.
